SCHOOL invites our Schoharie Country area “Third Age” peers to join us in exercising our minds, bodies and spirits.
SCHOOL has two semesters a year, one beginning in September and the other in March. Almost half our SCHOOL classes are held on the SUNY Cobleskill campus, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Other classes are held in public locations around Schoharie County. Most SCHOOL courses are 1 to 8 weeks long and usually meet once a week, Monday – Friday for an hour. Courses are held during daylight hours. Occasionally, a class field trip or event occurs on the weekend.
SCHOOL members must register for each course they want to take. Course requests are filled in the order received. Late registrations are taken only for courses with openings. Permission from SCHOOL and the instructor is needed to join a course already in progress. Members how have busy schedules or who travel can still find some SCHOOL courses to take.
Gift certificates are available! Treat that someone special to a SCHOOL membership. Contact us for information about obtaining a SCHOOL gift certificate. Guest are also welcome: each term, a member may bring one non-member guest, one time, to one class session only. This visit can occur only if that person is a potential SCHOOL member or is visiting. Please ask permission from the instructor ahead of time.
